As you have probably noticed, we work with a gastronomic starting point in our own food concept: "The Hven Kitchen".
Our own updated and local interpretation of the original Swedish and Danish cuisine. Our fantastic island offers so many possibilities for us in the kitchen. Durum wheat out in the fields, fish and shellfish in the sea around us, spring vegetables e.g. in the form of fantastic green asparagus, all the berries, nuts and fruits of the season, deer, pheasant, duck and hare in the wild directly to our table from Kungsgården's hunting grounds, the lambs grazing on the Backafallen, beach and forest herbs and much, much more. At the same time, we have such nice neighbors around us on the island who produce their own whiskey and other exclusive spirits, cold-pressed rapeseed oil, pickled rose hips, bread and buns, locally made ice cream and all kinds of other good things, it is impossible not to get super excited to use all these opportunities.
